Homestead Roleplay | Rules and Regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• By joining our Discord or joining our FiveM server, you agree to all rules and terms of service listed below.
• A microphone is required.
• We prefer 15+ but we're based on maturity and how well you can RP. (If you're looking for a place to troll or mess around, HSRP isn't for you.)
• You are responsible for your own actions on your account. You will face the proper discipline for any rules broken or events the staff team deems punishable. (My friend was playing is not an excuse.)

RESPECT

• This rule is one of the rules we take very seriously. You WILL treat others with respect Out of Character, No questions. Whatever happens in role-play with one another, should STAY in roleplay and should not be bought OOC.
• NO ONE is better than anyone else, if you get an attitude or flex or even catch that type of vibe, you will be removed from this community.

WORD RULES

• Any form of racial, homophobic, or offensive slur(s) are NOT Tolerated here and you will be banned.
• If you encounter any Fail RP, RDM, VDM, etc, it should never be said in chat or voice chat. Use /report (id) (reason)

OUT OF CHARACTER

• While in the city (server), you must stay in character at all times. If you come across a situation that is not going as planned or is starting to become uncomfortable, please TRY your best and role-play it out and if you feel it is necessary, you may make a ticket in help desk to further help with the current situation
• Please do NOT use OOC to go on rants, complains, mention in-character details, or call someone out. You should never break character to rant about how you're going to get someone banned or how say a smart comment such as "NICE FAIL RP ID 123" this is not tolerated!
• Do not mention the server rules in character, Do not talk about the discord while you're in the city (server). Don't tell people how you're going to get the Custom & Immigration to ban them. That is unacceptable and you will be removed as well.
• Do not mention members by their discord name, game ID, or steam username. Everyone has a first and last name.

DEATHMATCHES (RDM/VDM)

• Killing someone with no story or any sort of role-play that leads to killing.
• Using your vehicle as a weapon to gain an advantage, or for no good reason at all. Examples:
  • Someone said something you did not like... so you ran them over
  • Someone hit your car by mistake.. so you hit their car multiple times
  • You want to run someone over for no reason, then blame it on lag or "not on my screen or eyes"
  • You can handle these situations with guns or even fighting it out, if it really comes down to it.
• These are the things you need to initiate a gunfight:
  • Some type of role-play prior to what led up to the confrontation.
  • You must have a real valid reason that leads you to kill that person. (Don't kill people over very small things, ex. getting into a minor accident)

META/POWERGAMING

Some situation's that will not be allowed here are,

• Roleplaying that you're a superhuman with strengths and abilities that was cause you to not get harmed
• Fighting/Running right after you've JUST recovered from your previous injuries.
• Not fearing for your life as you would in real life.
• Not roleplaying injuries. Such as falling off a building or being shot and telling an EMS or an officer that it's just a scratch. This goes for all emergency personnel, if you got shot without a vest or shot anywhere that armor didn't protect, you MUST roleplay it.
• Abusing the rules to the point where you're trying to scare other people into not wanting to engage in violent role-play with you.
• When you use information gained from one of your other characters to gain an advantage on another character you use.
• The sharing, selling, or communicating of information gained in game to a player out of game. Example:
  • Using discord to tell your friend to come kill this cop while not holding a phone or communicating device.
  • Telling someone where a certain member is without realistic roleplay.
• Watching any stream of someone who is in the city (server) and using knowledge to come in contact with the streamer will lead in an PERMANENT ban from the city(server). (Only appealable after 2 weeks.)

NEW LIFE RULE (NLR)

• If you are not rescued by emergency personnel (LEO or EMS) and respawn, you are in a coma preventing you from remembering the moments leading up to you going to hospital. This includes the entire scenario of who and why you were killed.
• If you come across the individuals that put you in the hospital, you must roleplay it out that you don't remember what they did to you. The only time you will be allowed to remember what someone did to you is if the attackers themselves tell you, or someone who was present at the time of the attack informs you what happened.
• If you are picked up by EMS and taken to the hospital and you RP'd that you survived, then this does not apply to you.

VALUE OF LIFE

• Treat this like real life, you must value your life as if it's your own. You cannot be fearless in the face of death or severe harm to your person.
  • Example: Someone holds you up at gunpoint and you refuse to comply or drive off because you think their joking or don't want to RP.
  • Example: If you're being robbed at gunpoint you should not try to pull out a gun to kill them.
• Value the life of others. If a criminal is taking someone hostage, you must value that person's life as if it was you were the hostage. Do not gamble their life because you think it's a fake hostage or a trick.
• No suicide RP or telling people to kill themselves—in character or out of character. This is a sensitive subject and will not be tolerated.

COP BAITING

• Baiting LEO into chasing you or provoking them into a gun fight. Examples:
  • Ambushes & Committing crimes in front of cops to bait reactions or chases with no intention of roleplaying a scenario out.
  • Shooting up in the sky to get the police's attention or to lead them away from a crime scene they are not aware is happening but you do.
  • Driving erratically to get the police to engage in chasing you for no good reason.
• Do NOT interfere with any scenes you are not apart of. If the police are pulling someone over who you do not like, do not engage. let them roleplay their scenario out.
